2008 / 2009 RATES AND RULES
Please help us by the following to keep our rates down and to help everyone enjoy the benefits of vacationing at Whispering Cedars Campground.
SEASONAL RATES:
1st weekend of May to Thanksgiving weekend of October yearly. Water and hydro will be turned off and washrooms closed after Thanksgiving.
a. The site is rented to the contractee and their unmarried family younger than age 18 only. The site rate does not include married, divorced or grand children regardless of their place of residency.
b. All persons entering the private property of Whispering Cedars are subject to visitor rates. As to have one set of rules and fairness to all, visitors must pay.
c. Advertised camping rates are applicable to visitors and relatives using Whispering Cedars’ property or any campsite when the contractee is not present. When the registrant is not present, maximum of 4 visitors are allowed per site, including and must include relatives of the registrant. The Campground & Trailer Park Management may at any time revoke/cancel any permit or refuse entrance to the park to any visitor at their discretion.
CARS:
a. Each site includes one car with payment. That vehicle may be parked at your site; visitors are to park in the campground parking lot at all times.
b. Additional cars will be charged $5/night per site. Please pick up a
VISITORS:
a. Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Visitors must leave promptly by 10:00 p.m.
b. Seasonal campers are responsible for REGISTRATION and CONDUCT of visitors. All overnight guests must be registered, even if they are relatives. Please bring info and rate payment to office within 2 hours of arrival.
c. Day visitors – registration recommended. Please bring rate payment to office and pick up car pass. SITES/RENTALS:
a. Sites and rentals are to be maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
b. All site changes, including cement blocks and wooden decks, sheds, patios, fireplaces, etc. or removals of same must be approved by management.
c. Fences or enclosures must be approved by management.
d. Lawns: (if applicable) – mowing and trimming are to be done with your own maintenance equipment after 9am only. Lawn watering is prohibited unless posted.
e. Water use is for site maintenance only and does not include:
i. Washing vehicles
ii. Cleaning exterior of trailers
iii. Fridges, freezers
f. Each site is entitled to one outlet; sites are 20 amps. Any campers who use more than one outlet may be asked to leave the campground, unless extra outlet has been paid for and permission has been granted by park management, and only if extra outlets are available.
RULES:
a. Visitors are to leave the campground by 10:00 p.m. or they will be billed to the campsite/rental registrant as an overnight guest.
b. Quiet hours are 11:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. All noise is to cease by 11:00 p.m. and all campfires must be out by 12 midnight. We appreciate your respect of this rule and other campers’ quiet time.
c. Garbage is to be secured in the bins on the campground property, as labelled.
d. Pets are not recommended on Whispering Cedars Campground property.
e. For consideration and safety to all patrons at Whispering Cedars Campground, pets must be on leash and cleaned up after.
6. PROPERTY WAIVER:
a. Trailer owners who use or store their trailers, in any month, at Whispering Cedars realize:
i. That it is done entirely at the owner’s risk. WHISPERING CEDARS CAMPGROUND, its management and staff will not accept any responsibility for any loss to trailers due to fire, theft, collision, vandalism, or damage howsoever caused. The trailer owner hereby waives all claims against the campground for damages to the goods, wares and merchandise in, upon or about the campground premises or for any injuries to the trailer owner, guests or visitors, and the trailer owner and any of his family and visitors will hold the campground exempted and harmless from any damage and injury to any such person arising from the use of the campground by the trailer owner, guests, visitors or family howsoever the same may be caused.
THE CAMPGROUND & TRAILER PARK MANAGEMENT MAY AT ANY TIME REVOKE/CANCEL ANY PERMIT OR REFUSE ANY ENTRANCE TO THE PARK.
I/we, the undersigned, as registrant(s) agree to the rules and rates as outlined by this document and the management of WHISPERING CEDARS CAMPGROUND.
